Beta

It's 41. Not what we were hoping for, to say the least. The doctor wants it to be at least 50 by today. The nurse said that she's seen plenty of numbers like this turn into a healthy pregnancy, but we've heard that before. I'm extremely upset, but I guess we'll just wait till Friday and see what happens.

Remember the motto is "PG until Proven Otherwise". That is what me and dh kept saying when we got our low beta in April. 41 is not terribly low either, so there is plenty of hope for you! Unfortunately, it means more waiting, but Friday is not too far away.
Good luck and try to stay busy so you don't drive yourself crazy thinking about it- it's easy to do.

Do not give up hope. With our first IVF at 9dp3dt my BETA was 39. Turned out we were pg w/twins and now have a healthy 3 year old. 41 is not far from 50, sending lots of P&PT for great numbers on Friday!!

I know that more stories of low betas won't necessarily make you feel better but I had that same number on my first beta and now have two year old twins. I am praying for your peace of mind until you get even better news on Friday!
