Last day of work and crazy feet

Today is my last day of work! It's exciting but also a little strange. I've had a paying job for the last 11 years since I graduated from college and now I'll be going on to a new type of job. The hours will be longer and the payments will be much more meaningful than money. I can't wait!

In other news, my feet and ankles decided to swell to incomprehensible proportions today! My toes were sort of tingling while I was at work and when I looked down I saw:

Ahhhhh! How did I go from wearing 6.5 narrow shoes to scary cankle lady? Oh, well, it's worth it for Baby G!

Ouch! That looks really painful. So excited you're going to be a SAHM. Not much longer either! Hang in there.

whew! prop those feet up :)...girl you are getting so close!! So happy for you about your last day of work (such a great feeling). And you are right the hours are longer, but you could never find a more rewarding job. I've never worked this hard in my life lol...but I love it!

Mine looked like that, too! Yuck :( Good news is that they did return to normal!! :)

I have had the same problem (I've been following your blog and am just 2 weeks behind you!). I learned the hard way and was in pain for 2 weeks, until my OB told me "walk 30 minutes a day to pull the fluids off of your feet"-it does the trick every morning! And ice packs help at night because the 30 minute walk has worn off by dinner time. Hope that helps!
