Hcg Level
I just got a call from my RE's nurse with my beta from yesterday (what should have been 7w5d). It is over 20,000 still! I thought it would be SO much lower. So, it seems I have a ways to go before my body decides I'm not pregnant. We'll check the level next week to see if it is going down appropriately.

Hi Kelly, I feel awful that you have to go through this. I had a missed miscarriage too and I understand what you are going through. I ended up with a D&C and can completely understand your decision to wait to see what happens naturally. The D&C wasn't awful and I trusted my doctor's decision but do wish I would have waited a bit to see if my body would of taken care of it naturally. My thoughts are with you during these next few days. Take care.

Kelly, I'm so sorry you are going through this (although I know no words will make it better). It only took me a week to m/c, but my numbers were much lower than yours. A friend on a board I post on had numbers in the 10s of thousands and it took her three weeks. I don't know if that will help you any or not. I understand about needing a break, we have decided not to go for IVF #5 until January.
