Beta #3

It's 891. That's a 40.3 hour doubling time. Yay! So much for not getting my hopes up. Now they are up and I'm feeling excited. My RE usually does the first ultrasound at 7 weeks, but given my history, he wants to see me next Thursday at 6 weeks for my first ultrasound. We probably will not be able to see a heartbeat at that point, but he will be looking for size and placement of the gestational sack and perhaps the yolk sac and fetal pole. The nurse cautioned that it may be too early to see anything beside the sac, though. At this point it's cautious optimism and we'll just see what happens!

I'm rooting so hard for ya'll! Im so happy you arent out of the game! Things are sounding really great. My numbers were not far off what yours are. I have to recheck the timetables, I had my first beta, then waited a week, then another. I think my second was in the 800's. Also, our first u/s, we saw just the sac, no heartbeat. We had to wait another week or so for that. Don't be alarmed! Wishing you all the best! I'm rooting for my other "yellow roomer".

Mostly a Lurker, congratulations on your numbers! At 7 weeks pregnant my beta was barely 800, and now I have a healthy and wonderful 4 year old! My betas were low, but my daughter was born at a healthy 8 pounds, God had the last word.
